whether ，if，放在动词之后，引导宾语从句，汉语意思是：是否。当与or not连用时，只能用whether，而不用if。当与to do 结构连用时，只能用whether，而不用if。例如：1 .Will it be rainy tomorrow？I ask.(合并成一个句子)I ask if /whether it will be rainy tomorrow.2. I ask whether it will be rainy or not .
