本文以1980～2000年的时间序列资料，以人均畜产品消费量为因变量，以人均收入、价格和替代品价格为自变量，采用半对数形式的需求函数，对猪肉、牛羊肉、禽肉、蛋、奶和水产品消费需求的收入弹性和价格弹性进行测算，从而测算我国饲料的需求。
