英语中的定语分为两种,一种是前置定语,就是把定语放在所修饰的名词之前.主要是单个的单词作定语的情况.如:
a (big) man
(five) man
第二种后置定语,就是把定语放在所修饰的单词之后,这种用法主要用于当定语是一些短语或句子时,如:
the man (under the tree)
something (to eat)
a boy (called Tom)
He is a boy (who is good at English).
There is a man standing in the room.
注：以上句子括号里的内容就是定语．
