whether....or....用法

“whether... or...”可以引导包含选择范围的让步状语从句，意为“不管……”。

1. Well go on with the work, whether we can find the necessary tools or not.

我们会继续这件工作不管能否找到必须的工具。

2. I show everything on my face, whether I am angry or pleased.

不管是生气还是高兴，我的心情都写在脸上。

3. They'll find out the truth, whether or not you tell it to them.

不管你是否告诉他们，他们都会查明真相的。

whether or not 是：“不论,不论如何”的意思

在I don't care whether he will come or not.这个句子中,

or not可以省略.

但是,如果动词后面是动词不定式时,只能用whether接从句,不能用whether or not.

如I don't konw whether to go or come.
