乌龟是tortoise还是turtle

乌龟用英语表示用turtle或tortoise都可以。tortoise和turtle的区别是除了都有龟的意思外tortoise还有迟缓的人的意思，turtle是人名的意思。tortoise和turtle的相同点是作为名词都可以解释为乌龟。tortoise指的是在陆地上生活的龟。turtle指的是在水里生活的龟，或者至少是半水生。
